Brace of bulls for Early Spring Sale at Carlisle
The Foxhillfarm herd has two bulls for the early spring Limousin Society Sale at Carlisle, both being autumn 2016-born sons of the noted brood cow Bankdale Elizabeth.
The first is Foxhillfarm Masterbull, a September 2016-born son of the record priced Trueman Jagger. This is the first son of Jagger to be offered at auction from the Foxhillfarm herd and he comes with a beef value of +50, allied with a 200-day weight figure of +67 and a 400-day weight figure of +122.
On top of this, Masterbull has a muscle depth EBV of +7.2, placing him in the top 1% of the breed for all these traits. Shown at Stars of the Future last November, Masterbull was first in his class. He was weighed on 20th January, tipping the scales at 960kg.
Alongside him we will be offering Foxhillfarm Manager, an October 2016-born son of Guards Boomer, making him a full brother to both the 38,000gns Foxhillfam Irishlad and the 11,000gns Foxhillfarm Incredible. Manager was also weighed on 20th January, coming in at 902kg.
Manager comes with a beef value of +43 and 200-day and 400-day growth figures of +57 and +107, respectively, both in the top 1% of the breed.
Their dam, Elizabeth, requires little introduction, being a Wilodge Vantastic daughter out of the noted Bankdale Alice, as well as being full sister to the multi-interbreed winning Foxhillfarm Gracie. She is dam to a number of well known progeny, including the noted heifer Foxhillfarm Limited Edition.
