Foxhill Livestock have three bulls and two heifers for sale at the forthcoming Carlisle sale on the 6th and 7thMay.
Up first in the female offering on the Friday will be Foxhillfarm Silhouette, a January 2021-born embryo daughter of Ampertaine Gigolo out of the Vantastic daughter, Foxhillfarm Isla, who is also the dam of the multi award winning Foxhillfarm Naomi. She’s lot 8 in the catalogue and carries 1 copy F94L and 1 copy of Q204X.
Next up at lot 9 is Foxhillfarm Sugarbabe, another January 2021-born embryo heifer, Foxhillfarm Sugarbabe. By Gigolo again, she is out of the Kype Interrogate daughter, Foxhillfarm Limitededition, who was interbreed champion at Royal Cornwall Show in 2017. Carries 1 copy F94L and 1 copy of NT821.
Both heifers have power, good plates, great breed character and will make good show heifers for the coming season and great brood cows for the future, they will be an asset to any herd.
Junior bulls
Of the bulls on offer our first is Foxhillfarm Supersonic (lot 332). By Ampertaine Gigolo, he’s out of the Foxhillfarm Irishlad daughter and multi award winning Foxhillfarm Mammamia, herself a former interbreed winner at the Royal Highland Show in 2017. He carries 1 copy of NT821 and 1 copy Q204X.
A full sister to Supersonic, Foxhillfarm Primadonna, was sold for 19,000gns to the Meadowrigg herd.
Next up is Foxhillfarm Santiago (lot 349). By the popular Derrygullinane Kingbull, this one is out of the Vantastic daughter, Foxhillfarm Ivy. Ivy was female and reserve breed champion at the Great Yorkshire Show in 2015. Santiago carries two copies of the F94L and exhibits great growth and conformation.
Last up for us is the baby of the catalogue, the March 2021-born Ampertaine Foreman son, Foxhillfarm Sportman (lot 361). This one is out of the 125,000gns Glenrock Illusion and was champion at the Agrifest South West Calf Show, champion Limousin and reserve overall calf champion at the National Calf Show at the English Winter Fair and junior male champion at the Stars of the Future on last year’s winter circuit. Carries 1 copy of F94L and 1 copy of NT821.
