Foxhill Princess Caroline Y167 takes the Winter National Show championship

A fantastic trip up to Borderway Agri Expo for the Aberdeen-Angus Cattle Society Winter National Show saw us come home with the supreme championship rosettes for Foxhill Princess Caroline Y167.

Having won her heifer class, she then went on to win the heifer calf and overall calf championship under judge Fraser Cormack. Princess Caroline is by Kilmaluag Eriskay T203 and is out of Princess Caroline T867 who we purchased at the Blelack dispersal for 28,000gns.

We also took the yearling heifer, yearling championship and reserve female championship with Shadwell Lady Heather X250. By Shadwell Evolution T003 and out of Shadwell Lady Heather P738, this heifer was purchased at the Shadwell dispersal sale for 22,000gns.

Securing the reserve yearling championship was Blelack Princess Carina X125. Again, by Eriskay, this one was purchased for 30,000gns and is out of the 32,000gns Princess Carina U902. She has been shown successfully through the summer securing the interbreed title at North Somerset and the breed championship title at Royal Cornwall.

Also picking up a second place was Foxhill Delmonte Y163, a Linton Gilbertines Presdient S021 daughter out of the Weeton Diamond Mist M351. Mike also had the pleasure of judging the commercial classes at Agri Expo and would like to congratulate everyone who exhibited at the show and the Little and Shortt families on securing the overall championship with Sassy Girl.
