Foxhill tops ewe lambs at Saucy Sale

It was a highly successful day for the Foxhill Charollais flock at Worcester Market’s Saucy Sale of Charollais females as we topped the ewe lamb section on the day and took the second highest price of the day.

Foxhill Wild Rose, 3500gns

Leading the way for us was Foxhill Wild Rose, a Rockville Ferrari daughter out of a Logie Olympian daughter. Taking this one home for his Boyo flock was David Roberts.

Next best for us at 2300gns selling on the internet to Sheila Malcomson in Northern Ireland for her Ringclare flock was Foxhill Whitney. This Thackwood U Corker daughter is out of a Carthorpe Grand Duke daughter and is the natural sister to the 17,000gns Foxhill Walkabout.

Our next best at 1600gns was Foxhill Watermelon Sugar, a Logie Olympian daughter out of a homebred Crogham Hanniball II daughter. This one sold to the Willow flock of Ben and Amelia Watts. Other lambs in the pen sold for 700gns, 650gns and 500gns.

We’d like to wish all our buyers the very best of luck with them and we look forward to hearing how they perform in the future.
