New lad “Pointhouse Paul” joins the Limousin line up at Foxhill

Having popped in to Carlisle on the way up to Stirling for the Aberdeen-Angus sale, Pointhouse Paul certainly caught our eye from the line up of bulls on offer and we purchased him on the Saturday over the telephone for the days top price of 42,000gns.

Bred by Michael and Kile Diamond, this September 2019-born Goldies Jackpot son is out of Pointhouse Jewel, herself a previous junior female champion at Balmoral Show who we were very impressed with at the show.

Pointhouse Paul, 42,000gns

This easy calving sire is quite possibly one of the widest double F94L gene carrying bulls we’ve seen. We’re also delighted to be able to support young Kile Diamond with this purchase. Kile has worked for us at shows on numerous occasions and we’ve always been impressed with his knowledge of the breed at such a young age and his commitment and work ethic. He’s a great young ambassador for the breed and it was fitting that we took a shine to a bull from this great home.

Pointhouse Paul will now be our lead flushing sire for the coming season.
