A rare day for the Foxhill team yesterday as we just took one animal to this year’s Beef Expo held at Shrewsbury Market.
Our boy, No Likey The Second, won his middleweight steer class and then went on to stand male champion under judge Neil Slack. No Likey is a Limousin cross steer purchased at Brecon show potential sale from D and G Davies and has previously stood first in his class at Devon County Show. Congratulations to the Lyon family on taking the female and overall championship.

Michael also had the pleasure of judging the baby beef section and found his champion in the form of a heifer from Eddie Morgan and Sam Jones, with the reserve going to Phil and Sharron Sellers. Congratulations to Ted Lloyd on winning the young handlers class which Micael also judged.

Next stop for us will be Royal Cornwall Show, lets hope it’s drier than it was in Shrewsbury on Saturday!
