Last week was the final summer show of the season for Team Foxhill at Great Yorkshire Show, which was also held the Britsh Charolais and Aberdeen Angus National Shows. The heatwave didn’t slow the team down and they had a fantastic show. Kicking off with the Aberdeen Angus, our stock bull, Wensleydale Black Voltage Y140 stood first in his class, he then went onto stand male champion & stood third in the hotly contested Blythewood Beef Pairs. He was also part of the winning group of three & Pairs in the Angus classes along with are 2 heifers. It now out with the “Girls” for him back at Foxhill HQ.

Gretnahouse Evas Honey Z499 & Foxhill Princess Carina Z178 both won their classes and were part of the winning group of three with Wensleydale Black Voltage Y140.



Foxhill Princess Caroline A265 won her class, she then went onto stand champion yearling female, female champion, overall junior champion, YAS junior champion and overall breed champion. This heifer is by Kilmaluag Eriskay T203 out of Blelack Princess Caroline T867.

With the Charolais cattle our heifer, Foxhillfarm Victorious won her class and stood reserve junior female champion. Our stock bull, Hollywell Unclebob won his class and went onto stand male champion and overall reserve breed champion.


Our Limousin heifer, Foxhillfarm Vanity stood third in a very strong class where she was one of the youngest.

In the interbreed Foxhill Princess Caroline A265 stood junior reserve champion. A big thank you to all of our helpers over the summer show season and we look forward to the calf shows in a few months time.
