Foxhill Delmonte Y163 reigns supreme at Agri Fest South West

After her win at Agri Expo the week prior, we decided to leave our Angus star girl Princess Caroline at home for a rest, so it was the turn of our other homebred heifer Foxhill Delmonte Y163 to shine at Agri Fest South West this month for our second calf show of the season where she won the overall pedigree calf championship.

Having come through in the Aberdeen-Angus heifer class she then won the native championship before clinching the overall spot under judge Michael Thomas.

Our super stylish Limousin heifer, Foxhill Touch of Class, also did us proud by winning her breed heifer class before going on to be Continental and reserve overall calf champion behind Delmonte. Born in January 2022, she’s by Derrygullinane Kingbull and out of the Vantastic daughter, Foxhill Ivy.

Also in the team was our Limousin young bull, Foxhill Tyson, an Ampertaine Foreman son out of Foxhill Mammamia. The team will head to Stars of the Future next week, before taking the Limousins to Stafford for the English Winter Fair and then Tyson will be offered at the weaned calf sale at Carlisle in December.
