Foxhillfarm Manhattan continued the Foxhillfarm herd’s exceptional run at Carlisle, taking a 35,000gns bid having been junior and reserve overall champion in the pre-sale show. This son of Guards Boomer is out of the multi award winning Foxhillfarm Gracie, making him a full brother to Louisvitton who was champion at Carlisle in February. Manhattan was bought by Colin Lewis for the Garyvaughan herd at Buttington, Welshpool.
Second best of the sale for the herd was a 10,000gns call for Foxhillfarm Montreal who had stood second in his class to Manhattan. This one is a full ET brother to Manhattan and sold to the Killerton herd of Patrick Greed, Rewe, Exeter, Devon.
Then making 9000gns was Foxhillfarm Magregor, a Guards Boomer son out of Bankdale Elizabeth. This bull carries a beef value of +46.
And selling for 6000gns was Foxhillfarm Montpellier, a son of the homebred Foxhillfarm Irishlad out of the 125,000gns record priced female Glenrock Illusion.
Wrapping things up was a 4000gns call for Foxhillfarm Millionaire, another by Boomer and this time out of Bankdale Elizabeth, full sister to Gracie. This outstanding bull carries a beef value of +52. He found a new home with R M McConnell.
