Foxhillfarm Sportman sells for 11,000gns

Leading the way for us in Carlisle at the May Limousin sale and selling for 11,000gns was Foxhillfarm Sportman, the baby of our bulls on offer on the day.

This Ampertaine Foreman son is out of the 125,000gns Glenrock Illusion and having stood first in his class, he then found a new home with D R and A N Henderson, Mains of Wardhouse, Aberdeenshire.

Next up for us was Foxhillfarm Santiago, a Derrygullinane Kingbull son out of Foxhillfarm Ivy. Taking this one home at 5200gns was Messrs Wilson, Lockerbie, Dumfriesshire. Meanwhile, at 4000gns was the Ampertaine Gigolo son, Foxhillfarm Supersonic. Out of Foxhillfarm Mammamia, he was knocked down to Brogden Farms, Lancashire.

Our heifer on the day, Foxhillfarm Silhouette, then sold for 2800gns to Messrs Dunn, Okehampton, Devon. This one is by Ammpertaine Gigolo out of the Vantastic daughter, Foxhillfarm Isla.

A huge thank you to the successful bidders and the underbidders. We’d like to wish you all the best with these cattle.  We’re back in Carlisle this weekend with our British Blue bull, Foxhill President. Take a look at him below and follow this link to see more pics and video of him
