Madonna shines at Stars of the Future

It was a successful weekend for the Foxhill team at both Stars of the Future calf show, Stirling, and the Limouson Society sale at Brecon.

At Stars of the Future, calves from the Foxhillfarm herd picked up red tickets in every class entered, including a one, two, three in one junior heifer class.

Heading up the results was Foxhillfarm Madonna, a Trueman Jagger daughter out of Bankdale Elizabeth, herself a Vantastic daughter. She stood first in her class, was senior female champion and reserve overall senior champion in the Limousin section.

Following her strong form was Foxhillfarm Naomi, a Jagger daughter out of Foxhillfarm Isla, with this heifer winning her class and taking the reserve junior female championship in the Limousin section. Foxhillfarm Nikita, an Ampertaine Gigolo daughter out of Foxhillfarm Gracie stood second in the same class, with Foxhillfarm Nigella standing third here.

In the males Foxhillfarm Napoleon was first in his class and reserve champion junior male in the Limousins, with Foxhillfarm Masterbull also first in his class of senior bulls.

Napoleon is by the homebred Foxhillfarm Jasper and out of Glenrock Illusion, while Masterbull is a Jagger son out of Bankdale Elizabeth, herself a full sister to the multi award winning Foxhillfarm Gracie. This outstanding young bull is destined for sale in February.

In the older heifers Foxhillfarm Minesagin, a Jagger daughter out of Foxhillfarm Justtheone, took third in the same class as Madonna.

Meanwhile, at the Limousin Society Sale at Brecon Foxhillfarm Maddie, a daughter of the noted Glenrock Ventura out of Foxhillfarm Isla, stood first in her class and was female champion. She went on to sell for 1700gns.
