With the Charollais Worcester Premier Sale held on Saturday 4th July it was another record set for the Foxhill team, a new shearling ram centre record was acheived with our shearling show ram ‘Foxhill Destroyer’ who has had a great showing season for us, at Devon County Breed and Male Champion and also winning the Interbreed at Royal Cornwall Show. Destroyer is by our homebred sire Foxhill Chief and out of a Logie Durno Olympian daughter. We were delighted that he sold for 12,000gns in a three way split with Little Oakchurch, Bachymbyd and Maerdy flocks.

Another Foxhill Chief son in the showring at the premier sale was ‘Foxhill Diddly Squat’ who won Shearling Ram Champion and Reserve Overall Champion he is out of a homebred Logie Durno All Star daughter and sold for 5,000gns to the Elsridge flock in Tiverton.

‘Foxhill Delboy’ sold for 4800gns
Next up for us was ‘Foxhill Delboy’ a Logie Durno son out of a homebred ewe by Logie Durno All Star who is sired by the Worcester Premier Sale Foxhill Va Va Voom who sold for 16,000gns in 2020 who’s progeny are selling well. Delboy sold for 4800gns to Eion Probert from Pembrokshire.
New Ram Lamb for Foxhill
Cavick End Game Purchased for 8,800gns
Having admired this ram lamb before the sale ‘Cavick End Game’ from Mitchell & Elizabeth Britten of the Cavick flock, he is by Manor House Destino the first son to be offered for sale, he is also out of a home bred ewe from the Cavick flock sired by Foxhill Vava Voom who sold for 16,000gns at the premier sale in Worcester in 2020. Having won the Overall Championship at this years Premier sale we look forward to adding him to the Foxhill Charollais girls.
