Va Va Voom leads Worcester Charollais trade at 16,000gns

Saturday saw Mike’s best Charollais ram he’s bred to date lead the breed’s Premier Sale at Worcester as Foxhill Va Va Voom topped at 16,000gns, the third highest price for the breed on record.

By Loanhead Triathlon out of a home bred ewe which stood breed and interbreed champion at Devon County Show, he was knocked down to the Logie Durno and Loanhead flocks.

Our second best lamb in the pen, again by Triathlon, sold for 2500gns, to Jeremy Price, Oakchurch and Esmor Evans, Maerdy.

Reinvesting some of the earns from the day, Foxhill secured the second highest price of the day, Thackwood U Corker, for 4600gns.
