Another Interbreed Success at a wet & windy Royal Cornwall Show

Royal Cornwall Show 2026 won’t leave our memories for some time! What a show for the Foxhill team, not only in the beef cattle section, but in the sheep too!

In the beef lines we celebrated a phenomenal four breed championship wins; Charolais, Aberdeen-Angus, Limousin and the Simmental with Mary Cormack’s star of the show cades Kathline Rockstar (aka Roxy), in two breeds doing the double taking the champion & reserve honors in the Aberdeen Angus & Charolais.

In the breed pairs the team took pairs & group championships in the Charolais & Aberdeen Angus.

Following on in the interbreed on Friday it was Cades Kathline Rockstar despite the pouring rain and wind, looked her very best to lift the interbreed title on the second day, with our Irish-breed Charolais heifer Larahill violet standing reserve interbreed champion. Our Angus heifer Foxhill Princess Caroline A265 took the interbreed bred by exhibitor championship.

Team Foxhill then went on to clinch reserve in the pairs interbred with the Charolais and overall group interbreed winners with the Aberdeen-Angus. A day to remember for the team, despite the weather and the closing of the show a day early!

A breed championship win for Mike in the South West Feature Show with the homebred Charollais shearling ram, (destined for the Worcester Premier sale on 4th July) they then went on to clinch the interbreed pairs title alongside our class winning homebred shearling ewe, before the ram was tapped out as the overall interbreed champion of the show.

A huge thank you to everyone, both at home and at the show. The wagon keeps rolling and we will next be in Malvern for the Royal Three Counties Show. See you there!
