Hot off our success at Great Yorkshire Show, team Foxhill headed to the Royal Welsh Show with the Limousin and Aberdeen Angus team. Monday saw the judging of the breed sections in the Limousins, Foxhillfarm Touchofclass won her class and went on to win the junior female champion title; she is out of Foxhillfarm Ivy by Derrygullinane Kingbull. Not to be outdone Foxhillfarm Titan also won his class and went on to stand junior male champion. Titan is by Derrygullinane Kingbull out of the very successful Foxhillfarm Gracie.

With the Angus the heifer Shadwell Lady Heather X250 won her class and went on to win female and breed champion. She is in calve to Weeton Evolution we look forward to seeing what see breeds and is now set to come back to Foxhill HQ. Foxhill Princess Caroline Y167 also won her class and became reserve female and junior female champion, she is by Kilmaluag Eriskay T203 out of Blelack Princess Caroline T867 while Foxhill Delmonte Y163 stood 3rd in the same class, she is by Linton Gilbertines President S021 out of Weeton Diamond Mist M351.

Tuesday was all about Foxhill Princess Caroline Y167, she stood native interbreed female junior champion & overall interbreed female junior champion.


On Wednesday with the Limousins, we secured continental exhibitor bred pairs with Titan & Touchofclass, they then went on to clinch the overall exhibitor bred pairs

The final day of showing on Thursday finished with reserve in the females of the future pairs with Touchofclass when we paired up with with Garryvaughan Limousins.
2023 has been a great year for the Foxhill team and with the cattle based in Scotland in the very capable hands of Drew Hyslop, we would like to thank Drew for all he has done along with all the people who have helped Drew to make it all happen.
The final summer show will be Perth for the Limousin Grand Prix in a couple weeks. Next up then for the team we look forward to seeing the next generation at the calve shows!
