At this year’s English Winter Fair, Michael was asked to judge the commerical cattle and what a lovely display of cattle put forward for him to judge showcasing British Agriculture at a lovely show. We had our own team in the Pedigree Classes, with the Limousin’s we took Foxhillfarm Alberto who has been having a great winter show season, he was first in his class and then in the group of three for The Royal Smithfield Club Duke Of Norfolk Perpetual Trophy, having paired up with D & E Davies and our heifer Foxhillfarm Adele and they stood Reserve Champion.
Next stop was heading North to LiveScot with our commercial heifer, The Duchess who won her class, and went onto stand Light Heifer Champion. Our Aberdeen Angus bull calf, Foxhill Prince Evolution B192 was placed 3rd in his class and following on from his sucess at English Winter Fair, Foxhillfarm Alberto won his class.
Onto the last show of the season for us was The Welsh Winter Fair, where our commercial heifer, ‘The Duchess’ won her class and stood reserve champion heifer and Overall Reserve Supreme Champion.
