The first Foxhillfarm Lordofthering semen to be offered for sale in Southern Ireland was auctioned at the recent North East Limousin Club herd competition prize giving evening, with three straws selling for €510.
Lordofthering was Carlisle champion in October 2016 when selling for 35,000gns. He is sired by Guards Boomer and out of the herd’s brood cow Bankdale Alice.
All proceeds from the sale have gone to the North East Limousin Club after Michael and Melanie had the honour of judging the Club’s herd competition at the end of June.
Having seen 42 herds in their week’s judging both Michael and Melanie were full of praise for the quality of the stock seen and the standard set. They extend their congratulations to all prize winners and thank the Club for its hospitality and the opportunity to judge such a high standard of cattle.
Meanwhile, Lordofthering semen will be available in Northern Ireland in the next few weeks and available to purchase via Semenstore.com in later this summer.
