Following on from the successful sale of two of our own Aberdeen Angus bulls, Foxhill purchased two new stock bulls at Stirling Bull Sales last weekend. On their way back to Foxhill HQ are Lot 59, Massies Patriot who was purchased for 42,000gns. This bull stood Intermediate Champion & Reserve Overall Champion Aberdeen Angus Champion. He was purchased for his depth of breeding on both sides of his lines. In our eyes, he is an outstanding pedigree breeders bull & we look forward to seeing what he will breed for us. (Semen will be collected in due course & limited amounts available).
Our second purchase heading back to Foxhill HQ was Lot 341, Goldies VaVaVoom, purchased for 17,000gns. This bull stood Junior Champion & Overall Limousin Champion. He was also purchased for his depth of breeding sired by Ampertaine Opportunity, who seems to be doing a fantastic job at Goldies and out of Goldies Pianist & is a outstanding with good length & confirmation and second thigh.
