With establishing the Foxhillfarm Charolais herd with the purchase of some foundation females from the Gretnahouse dispersal, a trip to Stirling bull sales in October saw the purchase of a stock bull for the Charolais herd.
‘Holllywell Unclebob’ at the age of just 16 months was placed first in his class, catching our eye in the showring, for his tremendous width and body and achieving a daily live weight gain of 1.84kg.
Sired by Nuthampstead Judas who is the sire of Lochend Knighthawk who is breeding very well at the moment when he was sold for 28,000gns at the Gretnahouse dispersal, he is the sire of our heifer Foxhillfarm Victorious that is currently being shown this winter. We look forward to what he breeds for us in the future.
