Winter show and sale season is off to a fantastic start!!

The winter show and sale season has definitely been a memorable one so far. First stop was a trip up north to Borderway Agri Expo for the Aberdeen Angus Winter National Show, where we brought out three Angus girls.

‘Gretnahouse Evas Honey Z499’

First up was Gretnahouse Evas Honey Z499 who is no stranger to the show circuit after having a succesful summer show season, she continnued her success at the Winter National Show at Carlisle, winning her class and becoming reserve female champion and yearling female champion, this heifer who is sired by Rodmead Primero she was purchased from the Gretnahouse dispersal back in October. She is now off the bus and having a well earned break.

‘Foxhill Princess Carina Z178’

Next up was our homebred heifer Foxhill Princess Carina Z178 out of Blelack Princess Carina X125 who herself was no stranger to the winning limelight! Sired by Weeton Evolution R447, this August 2023 born heifer was placed first in the heifer calf class born between 1st August 2023 to 31st December 2023, she then went on to be reserve junior female champion behind Gretnahouse Evas Honey Z499
