Starting the day off on Thursday was the Aberdeen Angus cattle, Foxhill Princess Carina Z178 stood first in her class, closely followed behind her stood Gretnahouse Evas Honey who stood second in the same class. Gretnahouse Evas Honey was also part of the winning group of theee. Foxhill Princess Carina Z178 went onto stand reserve Aberdeen Angus female champion behind Foxhill Princess Caroline A265.


Our lovely heifer, Foxhill Princess Caroline A265 stood first in her class, she also went onto stand Aberdeen Angus junior champion, best yearling bred by the exhibitor and Aberdeen Angus female champion. Aberdeen Angus Breed Champion was won by Foxhill Princess Caroline A265 and in reserve was Foxhill Princess Carina Z178. Foxhill Princess Caroline A265 won best exhibit bred by the exhibitor who is resident in Devon and Foxhill Princess Carina Z178 was part of the winning best group of three.

Our stock bull, Wensleydale Black Voltage Y140 stood first in his class, he also stood Aberdeen Angus male champion and was part of the Aberdeen Angus Champion pairs with Foxhill Princess Carina Z178 & group of three breed & interbreed champion.

Onto the Charolais cattle, our stock bull, Holywell UncleBob purchased at Stirling in October where he won his class, made his showing debut with Foxhill standing first in his class, male champion and went onto stand overall Breed Champion. He then paired up with Thor Atkinson’s Charolais heifer to win the pairs.

Our exciting heifer, Foxhill Victorious, was very successful in last years winter calf shows, stood first in her class, reserve female champion and went onto win best exhibit bred by the exhibitor who is resident in Devon.

Our lovely June 2024 born Limousin heifers, Foxhillfarm Vanity & Foxhillfarm Vogue also made their showing debuts. Foxhillfarm Vanity stood first in her class with Foxhillfarm Vogue standing behind her in second. Foxhill Vanity stood second in the best maiden heifer born in 2024 and went onto win best exhibit bred by exhibitor who is a resident in Devon. Foxhillfarm Vanity and Foxhillfarm Vogue then won best pair of animals bred by an individual exhibitor.
Rougemont Livestock for Mary Cormack had a good start to the show season with Millerston Irania Rainbow standing first in her class, female champion, she also stood reserve breed champion. Rougemont Viceroy a promising young bull also won his class.

Onto the interbreed on Friday, Foxhill Princess Caroline A265 stood champion local beef animal with Foxhill Victorious reserve champion local beef animal. Foxhill Princess Carina Z178 stood champion beef animal.

Foxhill Princess Caroline A265 carried on her winning streak standing champion junior heifer, overall junior champion & native beef champion. The champion beef pair went to Foxhill Princess Caroline A265 and Foxhill Princess Carina Z178. Supreme overall beef champion went to Foxhill Princess Caroline A265 & Holywell Unclebob stood reserve champion for the continental beef.

Team Foxhill also won the most exhibitor points cup. On Saturday morning, the fantastic heifer Foxhill Princess Caroline A265 won the intermediate young handlers with 11 year old Elliw Davies, they also went onto win the beef young handlers and the overall young handlers class when competing against the dairy cattle.
