Llanarth Fair Lady (Cookie) has been having an incredibly successful showing season, firstly at Royal Cornwall winning the WP&CS Silver Medal, then onto the mammoth journey from Devon to Highfields Equestrian Centre at Howe for the Scottish Horse Show, here she was overall Welsh Section D Cob Champion & Reserve Champion in the Price Family Supreme In Hand Qualifier for HOYS.
On Wednesday, we headed to the NPS Summer Championship Show at Malvern, where Cookie stood 1st in the Welsh Section D mare class and overall Welsh Section D Cob Champion, which took her through into the evening performance for the Price Family Supreme.
Not to be outdone, her foal Foxhillfarm Lady Elizabeth (Queenie) won her foal class and was champion foal. Cookie was on flying form, it’s a good job Liesl Mead had her football boots on! We’d like to thank Kitty Bodily & Liesl Mead for doing a fantastic job of showing them both for us so far this season.
Our Welsh Section B, Thistledown Pretty Peggy went to her first show of the season at Royal Lancashire Show after foaling a lovely colt this spring, here she became reserve in the Welsh Section B Championship.
