Charollais and Suffolk success at GYS

It may have been a smaller sheep team for us at Great Yorkshire Show, but the results didn’t disappoint at all with our single Charollais entry being our aged ram, Maerdy Va Va Voom who won his class then went on to be male and reserve overall champion under judge Tim Prichard.

Meanwhile, Neville and Charlotte’s Suffolk shearling ewe won her class and then went on to be female and overall breed champion, adding to her interbreed success from Royal Cornwall earlier in the season and breed championship at Bath and West.

Then over in the cattle rings, our three entries all took seconds in their classes with our Limousin cow Foxhillfarm Naomi and her calf, as well as our two Aberdeen-Angus heifers purchased from Shadwell and Blelack picking up seconds as well.
