Exciting new stock bull purchased for the Foxhill Angus

After a great week at Devon County Show, the team split & Michael made the long journey up to Carlisle for the Aberdeen Angus May show & sale last weekend. Selling 3 homebred bulls away to new homes we would like wish the purchasers all the best of luck with them. Thank you to Drew Hyslop for doing such a great job.

Returning home with a new stock bull, for the Foxhill Angus Ladies was Wensleydale Black Voltage Y140 purchased for £9,000 gns. He is by Gretnahouse Blackboot V082 out of a homebred dam Wensleydale Black Vision V148. Maternal sisters sold for 17,000gns & 18,000gns at their dispersal sale.

Black Voltage goes back to some very good pedigree lines Peter Pershore, Blelack Ensign, Gretnahouse Blacksmith, Blelack Duke & Ardrossan Admiral.

He stood 1st in his class, Junior Champion & Overall Champion. He was purchased for his outstanding breed character, good locomotion and bone, depth of loin, & width in the plates and good hindquarters. We look forward to seeing what he produce’s for us in the future.
