Foxhill Vogue takes interbreed honours at Honiton Show

Having decided to enter our local show, Honiton, it was a huge delight to see our homebred Charollais shearling ewe, Foxhill Vogue take the breed and then the interbreed honours on the first day of judging. She’s a daughter of the successful Loanhead Triathlon.

Our 2014-born ewe, by a Loosebeare tup, stood second in the same class and our ewe lamb won her class and then went on to be reserve female and reserve champion. We also took a second with our stock ram, Thackwood Corker.

At the same show our British Blue cow, Rhymil Kylie won her class with her bull calf at foot and then went Any Other Continental champion.

Next stop for us will be focussing on Rouge and Texel sales. Keep an eye out for preview pics coming soon.
